While working on this this piece, I ended up spending the better part of an hour just looking at photos taken in various parts of Palermo. I was just flabbergasted at how much thought and care has gone into so much of the city, and at how ridiculously beautiful it looks. A trip to Sicily was nowhere near being an entry on my bucket list beforehand, but it certainly is now.
