First: Bravo on this.

Second...?

"I will admit a bit sheepishly that I’ve never sat through an entire Bruce Lee film (an oversight I promise to remedy as soon as possible)"

That bit right there gave me heart palpitations, Katie.

I actually had to say "wushaaaaaa" a couple of times.

Unfortunately, though, I can never seem to sound as cool as Samuel L. Jackson when he pronounces it as: "wuxiaaaaa" during 'The Art of Action' martial arts documentary. (Highly recommended)

Still, saying it at all makes me feel "as right as rain" just the same.

Anywho, I'm a child of the 70s, so meditations on this period have special meaning to me.

Bruce Lee (and Muhammad Ali) have been lifelong heroes to me.

And yes, I've seen each of the Four Noble Bruce Lee Movies™ countless times. LOL! And the unfinished Game of Death a few times as well. It's worth it for the 15 or so actual minutes of Bruce Lee's last on-screen performances.

As it happens, it had probably been 7 or 8 years (or more) since I'd last watched the electrifying Enter the Dragon, but Tubi had it in their catalog for streaming (but scheduled to be pulled 2 weeks later), so I watched it again for old times' sake.

I've watched it so many times but still found myself amazed at how well that movie still holds up.

Okay, you've totally got me rambling.

Bravo again on this.
