I didn't mention Mary and Jesus being Jewish because Jewishness isn't really a racial designation any more than Muslim is.

And yes, in addition to the Falashas of Ethiopia that you've mentioned, my research has also led me to find old 19th century photographs of black orthodox Jews in Yemen–complete with yamakas and long curls dangling down from their temples. LOL

I found the aforementioned photo, by the way, while doing research for an essay that I wrote back in 2005 entitled..."In His Image: Haile Selassie, Bob Marley, and the Second Coming of Christ." *wink*
