First off, I envy your wife for her experiences with the aboriginal blacks of Thailand and Malaysia. My interest in the migration of humans out of Africa and Asia actually started with them! Well, with the first inhabitants of the Philippines, and then the rest of Southeast Asia.

I also wrote about those groups a few years before I wrote about the little known presence of black peoples in China. Hopefully, you’ll give that one a read too. I think it’s one of the less controversial pieces on the subject.
