I never got into gunpla, but one of the comic book shops that I used to frequent, located near the college I attended in early 1990s, usually had marked down copies of Hobby Japan magazine.

Even tho I hadn't cared about models since I was a kid, I could never pass on the chance to buy a copy of Hobby Japan, which typically seemed to feature Gundam models on the cover.

Oh, and tho I've never been into Gundam either, having first been seduced into my love of mecha by watching Voltron and Robotech (aka Macross) on TV in the early and mid 1980s, to this day, I still find the design of Gundam models and toys to be utterly captivating.
