Wow. It's so touching to hear that, as the 1933 version holds a tremendously special place for me.

The existence of the original and the 1976 remake, in fact, both made it impossible for me to even watch the 2005 reboot.

(Despite the technical flaws of 1976 version, there so many things that I really love about it.)
